Franklin Nursery is a independent garden center located north of Pittsburgh in Franklin Park. Original owners Tom and Pat Greaser started the business in 1973. In the Spring of 2003, their son Patrick and his wife Ellie bought the business and have grown it into a full service garden center that's become a must visit destination for garden lovers.
Franklin Nursery specializes in shade, evergreen, and ornamental trees that the Greasers grow locally on their farm. The nursery also offers an amazing selection of shrubs, perennials, roses, annuals, and herbs. The nursery has a selection of Shredded Bark, Mushroom Compost, and Topsoil available for pick up and delivery.
A well-stocked Garden Market that opened in the Spring of 2007 is where you can find a full line of garden products, including a large selection of organics, to help you care for your plants.
In 2008, the Greasers transformed the original family home into a beautiful gift store that opened that fall. The gift store remains open through Christmas and is a great place to find unique Christmas items!
